Chris' New Album Featured on Walk The Beat Radio!

Chris had an opportunity to sit down with the host of Walk The Beat Radio, Elijah Russ, a few weeks back to talk about his new project, Casually Intense. Chris was joined by Dan Cannon, who played drums on 9 of the 10 tracks, and Andy Frisinger, as well. (These guys were influential in the project and we're so grateful!) This project would not be the same without the incredible collaboration and contributions of several gifted musicians. We also want to thank, especially, the amazing Joe Hettinga as Producer from Third Coast Recording Company. Joe is a fantastic musician, in his own right, and a great guy. The album would not be the same without his influence. Special thanks to Bill Chrysler for his support of this project and for having such a top notch studio right here in West Michigan.

Known locally in the Grand Haven area as the "Human Jukebox," this is not Chris' first project, but it is his first all original music project in many years. His songs are compilation of many of the styles of music you've heard Chris perform locally. The project is now complete and CDs will be available for purchase in the coming weeks. Watch for an announcement soon about a CD release party!

In this video clip, you'll get an exclusive taste of the album. Three of the ten original songs are featured in the video. There is something from almost every genre of music on this album. "All That I Have" was written by Chris and inspired by the true love story of his cousin Rick and his wife Kelly. "Solace" is a dark and smoky jazz-influenced arrangement co-written by the talented lyricist Mae Hill. (Think an early 1930s jazz club during prohibition on this one!) "Carry Me Back Home" is a folk music inspired duet for the bluegrass lovers. You're sure to love at least one song on this album no matter your favorite genre of music!

Keep up with Chris Wiser Music on our Facebook Page and watch for the announcement of the CD Release Party coming soon.
